Print tests have arrived

Greetings Chroniclers,

After some waiting and some shipping logistics issues, we finally have the first print proofs for the book. They arrived well, with some of the larger pages having light damage due to packaging.

Here are some pictures of how they look. 

We’ll check them meticulously for any issues they might have and send feedback to the printers. If everything is good, mass printing should start soon afterward. Then, we’ll just have to wait for the following printing proof, which includes covers and binding, to see how it looks. As with this update, when we have those proofs, we’ll show them to you.

Printing update and translations news.

Greetings chroniclers,

The printers have the book on their hands, and we are working on changes and corrections to the printing file. We’ll be waiting on the printing tests, which, according to our past experiences, could take a few weeks to cross customs. We’ll update you when the printing tests are shipped and when they arrive. 

Now we have important news regarding the translation of the book. This week, La Loutre Rôliste will announce a crowdfunding campaign for the French version. As for the Spanish version, we will be releasing the raw text this week.

Hello Chroniclers

We have news about the book's development. The English version has just finished revision, and it's getting ready for printing. We’ll start a back-and-forth with the printers to perfect the files and begin production afterward.

We know this has taken some extra time, but we are working to deliver the book as soon as possible while maintaining a certain level of quality. Our goal is to avoid any mistakes like those in the first version of the PDF.  

The following part regards the Spanish version. 

La version en español ya esta completamente traducida, solo falta que se termine de editar para que les podamos pasar la version de texto puro.

Greetings Chroniclers

We have sent you the corrected version of Tales from the Gods - PDF through your Backerkit account. We also updated the one available at DrivethruRPG.

We fixed the text and layout mistakes and also added markers to help navigate sections and prompts.

We increased the display speed while lowering the file size.

We hope you enjoy this new version, and thank you for all your feedback to help us improve the quality of our deliveries.

As for the print version, we are adjusting the files with the manufacturer's comments. We will send the file to the printer and continue the process in January because of the holiday break.

As for the Spanish version, we have some news regarding it.

Sobre la version en Español

La traducción al español ya está casi completa y está siendo revisada. Esperamos liberarles la versión de texto puro para finales de mes y la versión PDF en los primeros meses del próximo año, después que los documentos para impresión de la versión en inglés queden listos y podamos seguir con el maquetado en español.

Corrections and print version

Greetings chroniclers,

We have read your comments and changes, and we are working on them to release a corrected version soon. We also took some guidance from Tim Hutchings to improve other aspects that could get a little tweaking to enhance the experience of Tales from the Gods.

We will use the new version as a template for the printed version. We are talking with the printers to get all the necessary tools to get Tales from the Gods ready.
