Greetings Chroniclers

Work on the book is running smoothly. We are working on refining the rules text. Also, some prompts needed a little tweaking to avoid confusion and be easier to read.

Pledge Manager

We are also working on finishing the pledge manager. It will be available at gamefound.com. It is a platform we have used on the previous Kickstarters, and we can say it is reliable.

It will be available soon, and we will make an update notifying you when it is ready.

Greetings Chroniclers

This month we focused on the prompts from the first stretch goal. We researched and made a list of different primordial beings from mythologies across the world. We tried to make each prompt inspired by different creatures, but some of them were so good and interesting. We decided to expand them a little to leave an exciting story.

Next month our focus will be on the next stretch goal; we'll make a journey through different underworlds, searching for prompt ideas.

This update's prompt is the following.

Tonalli: My first action is trying to talk to them about their reasons. See if we can reach a middle point by considering their motivations and what other gods and I can do to stop the slaughter. If we didn't reach an understanding, I would have prepared an escape plan to find other remaining gods to create a united front against the mortal conspiracy.

We hope you like the final result when you receive the book in your hands.

Funds Collected & Start Development

Greetings Chroniclers.

The funds from the campaign have reached the team, and we can officially start working on developing and producing Tales from the Gods.

First, we’ll start by giving a second check to all the text from the preview, rules, and prompts. If no further corrections are needed, we will add new prompts and write some utility and safety features missing from the preview.

We’ll notify your next month of the progress made this month.

This update prompt is the following.

Tonalli: I greet them with a smile on my face and ask them if they remember anything of their past existence. If they remember, I will tell them that we can take this as a new beggining and hope for a happy coexistence. If they don't remember, I tell them of their past existence and why we drifted apart, resulting in that last encounter. So I reassure them that all is in the past and how glad I am to know the new them.

We’ll continue working to give you a great book, and again thanks for all your support.

The fund collecting has been going smoothly. Some issues can be solved by talking to your bank about the transaction or trying with another card. If you still have problems, send us an email at [email protected].

If you consider taking a refund, please keep in mind you have until the end of June to get a full refund. Afterward, any refund will be made minus the Kickstarter fees and taxes.

Here is today's prompt.

Tonalli: I try to make them remember me, using their favorite toy as a reminder of our bond. Afterward, I will lead them to where we used to play together, telling them how happy I am that we are together again.

We are working on organizing the job to ensure the books deliver with all the things unlocked and in excellent quality.

Campaign Finished! What's next?

Greetings Chroniclers

Thank you for all your support for Tales from the Gods! We reached our funding goal and unlocked all the stretch goals we planned for this campaign. It has become our most successful campaign, and we are delighted and excited about the final results and what it means for the book.

The last stretch goal was unlocked a few hours ago.

This stretch goal goes to complete the experience of a god game with the world and life creation aspect of the divine power. We hope you enjoy this new realm of power.

What's next?

The following week the card charges will pass, collecting the money. If you have any problems with your payment, send us an e-mail at [email protected], and we will help you.

Most of the time, payment problems are due to the bank not authorizing the charge in MXN; you can solve this by calling your bank to authorize the charge and trying again. If it still doesn't work, send us a message, and we'll send you a google form to collect your info to notify you when the pledge manager launches.

We will use the weeks while the funds are collected to organize and schedule our work to deliver your book in the best quality and time possible.

The Pledge Manager will open in the following months, where you'll be able to complete your pledge by adding your shipping and any other copies or add-ons you want to acquire.

Every month we will post an update on our progress and the project's status.

With each update will keep adding prompts. Today's prompt is the following.

Tonalli: Even if I don't fully trust them, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and join their pantheon. If everything goes south and they betray the other gods of the pantheon and me, I'll keep a saga hidden from them to have a backup source of divine power far from their reach and influence.
